School :)

It's finally the first day of school! I have really, really missed school. Not just the social stuff, but actual classes. I LOVE my major and am so glad to be back taking classes in psychology again.
However, the social aspect isn't bad at all :) I love my roommates, the more I get to know them the happier I am with how rooming ended up this semester. Labor day weekend is going to be AWESOME with them, I think we're going to Bear Lake for the day on Monday. I'm excited :)
Saturday was Lauren's bday, so we all went swimming and got pizza. We made her a poster and Bri made a delicious chocolate cake :) For the record, matches make wonderful candles, but only if you light them all really fast...hahaha. My bonfire party was a success :) Luckily everyone invited a TON of  people, so we went up, made the fire, and then about 50 people I've never met and 10 that I have came and joined the party. We had food, drinks, and lots of firewood...cheapest party I've ever thrown. I think I spent like 6 bucks on firewood. After that we went home and watched the Prestige...and so begins the late nights. I'm sure they'll slow down after today, since it's finally hitting me that school is starting for reals. So far it's just felt like a party.
I can't believe that I only have one more year as a teenager, it makes me so sad! 20 seems so, SO old right now. Ah!! Anyway, I'll see if I can get any of my roommates to go swimming with me this afternoon for my birthday, and then Dan said he'd make me dinner tonight...we'll see if this really happens ;) It should just be chill. I think Lauren and Dan and I will go longboarding later :) I am SO GLAD I have friends that longboard this year.
The school year has started fantastically. I couldn't be happier about it. It's going to be a good year at USU :)

The 401

I. Love. College. Especially USU.  Let's get started with the update, shall we?

I basically spent the last two weeks cleaning and packing. I super, SUPER deep cleaned my room and closet.  8 D.I. bags, 5 garbage bags, and a lot of dust later, my room is totally clean. Probably the cleanest it's ever been my whole life. It's so amazing. Don't ask me why I super cleaned it when I was just going to move out in a week, because I don't know why either.

After my room, I went and helped Elise clean hers out. I ended up leaving her house with two new pairs of denim shorts, a pair of skinny jeans, a shirt, three sweaters, a pair of shoes, and three pairs of earrings. So much for all my D.I. trips..

This is how I feel about Elise going to the U

Anyway. After she moved in, I went down to visit her at her new hotel (yes, she lives in a hotel at the U until she gets housing) and we went to The Pie for dinner since it's such a college hangout!!
Elise with our delicious Pie :)
This week on Thursday I moved into my new apartment at USU. Me and Nicky unfortunately have to share the "Private Room" ...which apparently isn't really private? haha. Oh well. We have made it work. :)
My roommates all are so nice!! Ashley's room roommate is named Lauren. She is a junior, and is so cute. She longboards, plays tennis, and does country swing dancing. I can already tell we will be great friends. haha.
Elise and Brianne are roommates, and they are both blonde and super cute.  They are really funny and also country swing dance. Wednesdays are going to be the best days ever. I am really loving our apartment/our roommates. My room looks out over the swimming pool...which is pretty awesome, I'm not gonna lie. This comment is unrelated...but we sure do have a lot of attractive boys living at Pineview this year. I'm not even mad about this. Anyway, here's a couple of pictures of me and Nicky's room :)

My bed! with of course my Tangled poster :) and Toms flag hahah.

My lovely roommate on her bed :) hahaha :)

Ashley filling out her papers in our very full kitchen.
Anyway, that's my life right now. I love college so much and am so excited to start classes on Monday :) Unfortunately it might ruin our "let's swim everyday till the weather's bad" plan, but oh well. It's going to be a fantastic year :)

If we're being Pacific, I was in OR

I guess it's been awhile. I don't know if I should apologize or not- to my die-hard fans, sorry! To anyone else that doesn't read my blog but follows it...too bad suckas! Here's another notification on your reading list!  haha.
I've been AWOL this week because I was in Pacific City, OR with my mom's extended family.  It was gorgeous! I got to take lots of pictures with my new camera, which I was very excited about. My family stayed in this sweet beachside cottage that had the works- heated floors, top-of-the-line stereo system and DVD system, basically everything you would ever need on a vacation. We felt really rich for a few days! haha.  I got to check something off my bucket list on this trip- playing my guitar at a bonfire on the beach :) I felt so incredibly awesome. LOVED IT. We went to the beach, to some lighthouses, to the Tillamook cheese factory (of course, what would a trip to Oregon be without squeeky cheese?) and my favorite, shopping in unique little botique stores in one of the many little,  picturesque towns that borders the Pacific Ocean. I bought a new backpack to replace my blue satchel I got in Old Town last summer...pictures coming soon :) let's just say it's another one-of-a-kind bag that is going to be awesome for longboarding. Also, sandboarding doesn't work at the dune we were at...and they won't give refunds for giving you a product that doesn't work. Just fyi.
Here are just a few of my pictures from the trip...

Haystack Rock- view from our cottage

One of the lighthouses- Cape Mears

The gorgeous Oregon coast :)
My favorite lighthouse we stopped at - Yaquina Bay
The drive there and home was...not fun, because how fun can a 13 hour drive be, really? Thanks to everyone and anyone who texted me on my long drive though :)
So now I've got to two weeks before I move up to school again. On my agenda is to clean out my entire room and make some D.I. trips, get my boxes packed, figure out some scholarship stuff, enjoy the little bit of time I have left with my friends moving far away to college, write some missionary letters, and basically just chillax and do fun, summer stuff I couldn't do while I had my job (mostly longboarding, tennis, and swimming.)
Anyway, life is good. This next week'll be great :)
