Sloan Millward needs a job.

  So I'm just sitting in Nicky's dorm working on some homework and helping her with Swing Club stuff.  We're so legit :)
  This last weekend was so good! Me and Ashley hung out a ton and spent most of Friday and Saturday together.  Saturday night was SO RANDOM. Me, Ash, and Anna went to this party at Pinnacle Security.  Yes, they sell home security systems there.  And we had a party there thanks to Anna's sweet hookups. Haha.  We left that party when it got boring and went to the Fun Park. That was just awkward, so we left there, but this time we picked up a couple friends named Jared and Patrick! Then we headed to Jared's to change into swimsuits and go hot tubbing for free at Oakridge. That was so fun! Can't wait to go again :) Anyway, I played organ for the last time EVER in this ward on Sunday. YAY!!! And we had our last ever choir practice.  This probably sounds awful but I'm not too bummed that this ward is almost over..mostly because my calling has just been a mess. 
  Anyway, today I had my first test of three this week.  It went great I think, it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be.  I also finally finished my very stupid research paper for English 2010.  That is the STUPIDEST class I've ever had to take.  Same exact friggin' thing as AP English senior year.  Kill me now.  In better news, I had the best workout of my life today, and I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm SO EXCITED to go again tomorrow! haha.
  Nicky just helped me fill out two job applications online! Both are at the SDRC.  One was to be an Ice Manager (basically skate around and make sure everything's okay...and learn to drive that ice thing!!) and the other was to be a swim instructor. They teach you the water certification stuff there, so you don't HAVE to have any previous experience..now before you say "But Sloan, you hate little kids!" ....I don't hate them.  They just exhaust me.  And since I am a pretty decent swimmer and it would be teaching kids in an indoor pool in the shallow end..I'm pretty sure I could handle it. Plus starting wage is $9.00.  Anyway, I hope I can find a job soon...yep.  That's all I really have to say today.  Wish me luck on my two tests tomorrow! Yikes..kay goodnight!
