Happily Ever After

I have such a great family. I'm curled up with my puppies on my bed while my mom sings a nonsense song out in the hallway. She's been cracking me and my dad up all night. I missed these guys so much at college!
It's official! My sister is a married woman now. The little wifey. Haha. Her wedding was AMAZING. She has never looked more beautiful than she did on Friday. Her dress was gorgeous, her hair and makeup were fantastic, and she had that glow people get when they get married. You know the one.

So pretty :) I love them.
After the temple, we all drove back to Farmington (after many pictures) and then had the family/close friends luncheon. It was delicious :) After that, it was time for a very short nap (who knew weddings could be so exhausting?!) and then on to the reception center. Jade and Cord left first, and then me and Garrett took my car and headed down. The bridesmaids had a interesting time trying to get Jade's wedding dress back on her. Luckily Emily the zipper-whisperer was successful.

The reception was amazing!! :) A very good friend of mine came at six (half an hour before it even started) and stayed for the entire time with me. :) Which was VERY nice of him. He stayed longer than anyone besides family.
Hopefully I get some pictures of the reception soon! There was a chocolate, caramel, ranch, cheese, and BBQ fountain to dip food items in, and the place looked great all decked out with Christmas trees and  garlands.
Our family at the reception :)
After the reception, I came home, packed up all my stuff, and moved into Jade's old room, since all of my furniture (my parent's old furniture) had been given to the happy couple. Then I crashed.
Overall it was a great day. I got to see lots of old friends, my family, and more important than anything else, I got to see my sister be married to the love of her life for all time and eternity. Heavenly Father's plan is incredible. How blessed we are to know that we get to be with our loved ones the rest of eternity! Now that's what I call a happy ending :)
