If we're being Pacific, I was in OR

I guess it's been awhile. I don't know if I should apologize or not- to my die-hard fans, sorry! To anyone else that doesn't read my blog but follows it...too bad suckas! Here's another notification on your reading list!  haha.
I've been AWOL this week because I was in Pacific City, OR with my mom's extended family.  It was gorgeous! I got to take lots of pictures with my new camera, which I was very excited about. My family stayed in this sweet beachside cottage that had the works- heated floors, top-of-the-line stereo system and DVD system, basically everything you would ever need on a vacation. We felt really rich for a few days! haha.  I got to check something off my bucket list on this trip- playing my guitar at a bonfire on the beach :) I felt so incredibly awesome. LOVED IT. We went to the beach, to some lighthouses, to the Tillamook cheese factory (of course, what would a trip to Oregon be without squeeky cheese?) and my favorite, shopping in unique little botique stores in one of the many little,  picturesque towns that borders the Pacific Ocean. I bought a new backpack to replace my blue satchel I got in Old Town last summer...pictures coming soon :) let's just say it's another one-of-a-kind bag that is going to be awesome for longboarding. Also, sandboarding doesn't work at the dune we were at...and they won't give refunds for giving you a product that doesn't work. Just fyi.
Here are just a few of my pictures from the trip...

Haystack Rock- view from our cottage

One of the lighthouses- Cape Mears

The gorgeous Oregon coast :)
My favorite lighthouse we stopped at - Yaquina Bay
The drive there and home was...not fun, because how fun can a 13 hour drive be, really? Thanks to everyone and anyone who texted me on my long drive though :)
So now I've got to two weeks before I move up to school again. On my agenda is to clean out my entire room and make some D.I. trips, get my boxes packed, figure out some scholarship stuff, enjoy the little bit of time I have left with my friends moving far away to college, write some missionary letters, and basically just chillax and do fun, summer stuff I couldn't do while I had my job (mostly longboarding, tennis, and swimming.)
Anyway, life is good. This next week'll be great :)
