Music and such nonsense.

Some really great songs stuck in my head this week:
Coming Home - Skylar Grey. JUST Skylar Grey :)
Broken Strings - James Morrison. He's a recent find of mine, and I love his style. This is my favorite song by him.
Cinema - Benny Benassi Ft. Gary Go (Skrillex remix). Not for the faint of heart...this is my dubstep guilty pleasure.
Extreme Ways - Moby (That catchy song from the end of Bourne)
Just a Kiss - Lady Antebellum
Knee Deep - Zac Brown Band. I can't believe I just put a country song on that list. But it gets stuck in my head ALL THE TIME.

In other news, me and the gym are best friends these days. Oh, and Crisco Chocolate Chip cookies...I just can't get enough of them. Also, I've spent a lot of time bonding with my homework this week. Good thing I have Western Swing as a way to relieve myself of stress once a week.
All the roomies besides me and Elise went home this weekend. It's been so very strangely quiet...I don't like it. haha.
Henrie, Ashley, and I finally figured out housing for next year. We're going to live at Hillside Apartments next year! It's a two minute walk from campus, and $500 cheaper than Pineview. Hooray!! I am so excited to live with them :)
Well, that's it for this week. Have a happy sunday :)

It's Friday, Friday...

It's funny how much I hate Friday nights sometimes. I love my roommates, but let's be honest, have you ever heard anyone say "I'm so excited to fifth wheel it tonight!"
Yeah, didn't think so.
Anyway, I'm missing my two totally single roommates. And my other Logan friends that all went home this weekend. Time for a pity party movie/smoothie night with a giant blanket to cuddle with. Hope you are all having a much more eventful Friday night than me!

P.S:
It's fine, I didn't want to hang out with you anyway since you actually drove all the way to Logan...to play Halo.
Men.

The good, the bad, and the snow.

Things that make me happy:
Jam sessions with Ashley and Justin Brady.
Staying up with my roommates just to talk and listen.
Winger's :)
My psychology classes...call me a nerd, I dare you.
The Vampire  Diaries!
Kneader's french toast and smoothies for breakfast
Going to the J-Y-M.
Having bruised knuckles from karate. I'm pretty much a blackbelt.
Laughing so hard I cry because my roommates are just so dang funny.
My signed Utah Jazz Gordon Hayward jersey. :) :)
Pretty much the Jazz in general.
Mint chocolate chip shakes.
Being at 100% daily scripture study for 2012.
Dreams so epic that you are actually upset when you wake up and the story doesn't continue.
Quoting. Quoting everything, all the time AND having people respond with the next quote.
HUNGER GAMES: 60 DAYS.
Color Festival: The day after Hunger Games!
Spring Break-Vegas Style: The week BEFORE Hunger Games.
Let's just consolidate the last 3 into 'March of 2012.' :)

Things that aren't quite as easy:
Missing one of my best friends up at college. Down to one month until I can't even text him anymore.
Not having my roommate here for a whole week!
Healthy food. PFT.
Having bruised knuckles from karate...haha
SO. MUCH. HOMEWORK. this semester.
Missing my married sister.
Having my scholarship run out for next year. Boooo.
Figuring out housing for next year...

Life is going good right now overall though. I'm excited to see the family for Brian Regan this Friday :) not to mention a certain someone's farewell on Sunday. Can't wait to get some snow to go sledding on Old Main Hill! Hope everyone stays safe this weekend in the weather! Drive safe! :)

The Blah post.

Today was good. Until I realized my best friend is going to a far away foreign country next month.
With no cell phone.
Or internet.
Where mail takes weeks.
I don't know how I'm going to do this.
:(

Bow to your sensei.

Well pretty much I haven't blogged in a long while. Let's catch up, shall we?

Christmas break was great :) I got to spend a lot of time with one of my best friends that's leaving on his mission next month. Can I just say how incredibly hard it is to go from spending every single day with someone to seeing them maybe once a week to not once for two years? Yeah. It kinda sucks hard core. But there is absolutely nowhere else I'd rather have him be than out serving the Lord for two years honorably and faithfully.
I had an absolute blast with him-going to a Jazz game and sitting lower bowl, trying sushi for the first time, doing hometown tours for each other, Asian City, CTR ring shopping, Winger's, a Twilight marathon, meeting his family, and talking to him about anything and everything. It was a lot harder to come back to Logan knowing he wouldn't be two floors above me whenever I needed him, but I'm so grateful I got to spend so much time with him before the semester started.

New Years Eve was incredibly lame this year, but hey, it happens sometimes. I got to spend New Years Day with my extended family playing Bang and Ticket to Ride. I got to spend a lot of time with Jade and Cord and their new puppies, who are ADORABLE. Maybe someday Jade will take a picture of them and put them on her blog. Or Facebook. :)

Anyway, school starts tomorrow. I can't believe I'm in my fourth semester at USU already! My only class tomorrow is karate. Bow to your sensei, because I am going to rock it. Hopefully my textbooks all come by Tuesday. Haha.
Hope you all had a fantastic break! I guess I'll go hang up all my laundry now.
